Ty Chen Ghost Dancer Collection
The Ty Chen Ghost Dancer Collection is a series of classic black and white art prints
that examines human strength through the artistic medium of dance. Chen is a dancer
hailing from Taiwan whose movements have a Shaolin-like power to them. In this
series, Chen’s strong figure takes on the appearance of an almost ghostly apparition as
you see him navigate each precise movement as a moment captured in time. Chen’s
vitality as a dancer, combined with his painted body and dark hair, make for a
stunning collection examining human energy interacting with the very item that has
nourished people for thousands of years: that of flour.
